Scot Chrisman is 27 a professional skier and extreme sports athlete residing in Crested Butte, CO. His life has been anything but ordinary and he prefers it that way. Having grown up in Boulder, CO with a hard-working mother and equally hard working and inspirational father who suffers from MS, a chronic progressive disease with no cure, he’s no stranger to adversity. Having seen the effects of a chronic disease first hand and having witnessed multiple deaths and losing best friends, he knows the impermanence of life all too well.
From standing 8 feet away from a Grizzly bear in Alaska, holding a salmon, to being face to face with Japanese Skull from WW2 140ft under the sea, he has seen things that few ever will and taken lessons from each. He is wildly passionate about helping others make the most out of life. As a philanthropist, entrepreneur and stoic, he is nothing short of a modern philosopher. He runs a company called Academy of Skiing and helps inspires other to take care of their mind, body, and spirit by pushing past their fears and limits on and off the slopes, regimenting their lives, and helping them become the best athletes, skiers, and people they can be. Without further ado, Scot Chrisman.
